Formed as a mesh basket, the pressure is evenly distributed, which not only prevents incision, but also offers maximum foot control. In fact, the construction perfectly transfers the weight over the boots to the tines, ensuring the best bite when climbing. Together with the 360° aluminium traction frame, this not only results in a light weight, but above all in a great surefootedness.</p><p>In addition, proven elements such as the DTX crampons and aggressive side teeth have been retained for best slip resistance on crossings. Of course, the Lightning Ascent snowshoes continue to rely on the Ergo™ climbing aids, which can be flicked into position easily with your poles.</p><p>Overall, the Lightning Ascent impresses with comfort and bite, but also with the intuitive handling, because the binding is not only technically extremely well implemented, it is also very easy to use. The bindings of the women’s model are, of course, fully adapted to women’s feet.</p>
