<p>The Alien Ski Touring Boot from Scarpa is the perfect starting point for experienced touring skiers looking to get into fast, athletic ski mountaineering. The boot, which is made from a mix of shell and gaiter, is ideal for your ambitious training but also for competitions. It is not only pleasantly light and extremely flexible but also offers excellent energy transfer for this category. It thus moves from the speed to the race segment and feels at home wherever speed is important.</p><p>A Carbon Grilamid® shell and a special Grilamid® shaft reinforced with glass fibres make all this possible. This makes the lightweight components particularly torsion-resistant and also enables descents on and off the groomed piste with good power transmission. The open heel clasp allows you to rotate the shaft by a full 72°.</p><p>A sophisticated Boa® closure, which controls the entire lower foot section, provides the necessary hold in the boot. The gaiter prevents the penetration of snow and moisture. The Alien allows you to switch between ascent and descent mode with a single movement, as the clasp on the back of the shaft tightens or loosens the cord once it has been set, thereby also controlling the forced closure of the shaft.</p>
