The Cobra™ carbon harpoons directly under the foot have an aggressive bite and yet are pleasantly light. The tines under the heel provide lateral support. A fold-out climbing aid makes walking on steep terrain easier.</p><p>The soft padded binding is also very important. The 180™ Pro binding with the ratchet-adjustable front basket distributes the pressure evenly and is designed for women’s feet so that it doesn’t cut in anywhere. The stretched deck has a smooth texture, but is extremely robust and gives the Winderness 22 snowshoes a nice lift.</p><p>The 25 version is more suitable for larger, heavier female snowshoe trekkers.</p>
